PSLoremIpsum

A PowerShell module that generates placeholder text at the prompt and puts it on the clipboard — reproducible, multi-format, with vocabularies that stress-test layout.

Every lorem ipsum tool I used was tied to one editor, one browser, or one language. A shell command isn't: it composes with everything, and the clipboard is a universal adapter into Figma, Word, a CMS field, whatever's in front of me.

The feature I care about most is -Seed. Placeholder text that changes on every run produces noisy diffs and screenshots that never match between builds; seeded output is stable, so it's safe to check fixtures in. Beyond that it does exact counts of characters, words, sentences, or paragraphs, three output formats with the right line endings for each, and a set of layout-stress vocabularies — Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, mixed Unicode — that surface bidi and grapheme-splitting bugs that Latin filler never will.

It's 116 tests and a build.ps1 that runs exactly what CI runs: manifest, analyzer, tests.

If I kept going I'd add a proper templating mode — real headings and lists mixed in, not just paragraphs — since that's closer to what most pages actually need to be tested against.
